Spring 2019 is Here!

The weather has definitely become warm in the tri-state area. Spring started slow back in March, but now the humidity has hit. My favorite time of the year is actually fall because I love seeing the changing colors of the leaves on the trees. Although I do love the beautiful blooming flowers of spring, I do not like the change in the weather from cold to warm humidity into hot summer.
I'm a winter baby but I don't really like the winter either because of snow storms. Who likes shoveling snow? I surely do not. Spring means it's time to venture out of hibernation. I've been hibernating for a long time since 2018 wasn't a good year for me. So on with spring and what it may bring!

I love spring and summer. I am a summer baby and I love summer. I love when the sun shines all the time and flowers are in bloom and no more layers to wear.

@Hannihar The not wearing layers is about one the things I like about warm weather. I also like not having to wear sneakers. I like just being able to slip into some flip flops to go outside instead of having to put on socks and shoes.

When it is raining out I wear my hiking shoes. I gave up wearing boots and like to wear those.

As I read this Fall is here or at least it's supposed to be. It's still very hot here.

@Tampa_girl7 If you're in Florida, I would assume that there aren't that many cool days. I don't like the humidity of Florida. Actually, I don't like the heat of the south at all. It's too much for me.

@Tampa_girl7 Oh! Well, that's still down south. Is there still a lot of humidity? The south is nice to visit sometimes but I wouldn't want to live there. I like the change of the seasons more from here up north. I'm in New Jersey.

Beautiful tulips. We will be ranging from the high 40s to the 70s over the next week. I am now a summer lover. I cannot tolerate the cold. I don't like the heat; but I can tolerate it better.

@Michellekidwell The tulips are pretty. The flowers are mostly what I like about the warm months. I don't like the heat and bugs it brings out, though. @Janet357 @LindaOHio
