overweight rabbits

Have you ever seen a pet rabbit this big?

his is a photo of my oldest granddaughter and her pet rabbit. This rabbit got out of its pen and stayed in the woods for a couple of months. We thought he was lost forever and then one day, who showed his face? The rabbit! He was still pretty tame and my granddaughter could pick him up with no trouble. She was so happy to have him back. The big thing that had changed was that he had more than tripled in size and was huge! Unfortunately, the rabbit got out again and has not been seen again in several months again. He was a good rabbit and pet. Have you had a pet rabbit get this big?

I've heard of rabbits that get that big. I forget what they're called. They are a specific species of rabbit. I'm sorry it got away again.

This was supposed to be the regular lop-eared bunny that is so popular for pets. She has a new bunny now. The child loves animals and just about has a zoo!

She is a total animal lover and loves all animals. He looked like he weighed a good 15 pounds!! Huge!

I don't know what his name was/is, but perhaps you should have renamed him Harvey?
