I added some fresh strawberries to the cake. / myLot

The cake was delicious but a little bit dry. This is what happens with many of the cakes that we buy at the super. They are not expensive, but we would have done it better. So, as the cake was a strawberry cake and I had strawberries in my fridge, I sliced some fruit over the thinly sliced cake. It was a lot better. Do you 'better' food that you have bought?

Oh my gosh, I want a strawberry cake. Amazing! It does sound better putting on extra fruit. I do that sometimes when it comes to certain foods, can't really name any at the moment but I'm sure I have done it!

I make pancakes filled with a cream made with spinach or kale. They are much better if they have more cream.
