Hello, all !
Well, the teacher that was out yesterday was back today, so I got to stay just for my new schedule (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
I caught the bus, which takes longer for me to get home but is much cheaper than a Lyft.
From the last stop I walked the last block or so home, and noted how warm it was. When I got home from walking Angel, I looked at the thermometer on the back deck, and it was 80° F out! 
No wonder I was warm, and I was wearing a jacket ! 
So, I got home from walking Angel, and was able to check the message on the machine that I noticed when I got home originally. It was from my boss, who said that she wanted to run something by me that she hadn't had the time to ask me about at work, so I called her back.
My boss wanted me to do some substituting at her other school, which I love the idea of--it's a whole different (in the better sense) atmosphere than the one I normally work at. Granted, there's the whole "low income" thing with the advocate and my hours are supposed to be cut back so that I qualify for all this low income stuff and whatall, which is connected to the low income housing/apartment I'm trying to get, but honestly, who knows how all that's going to pan out--and it's not like my cupboards are bare or I'm not able to pay the bills. That's all in the Lord's hands, besides. So, anywho, I said I'd be glad to sub.
In a while I'm going to get ready for Bible study at church tonight, but I wanted to stop and say "Hello".
