Would anyone even consider swimming in the oldest pool of water? I wonder what lurks in there. Down deep in a mine in Canada you can find a pool of water that comes bubbling out of the ground. It was discovered in the Kidd Creek Mine in Timmins, Ontario. It is about 2 miles below the earth’s surface and it’s been there for 2 billion years. This makes it the oldest pool of water in the world. Pools of water like this interest researchers because they can reveal more about how life was on earth billions of years ago. The water in the pool is about eight times saltier than that in the sea.
Does anyone have water older than that?

I think that I might fear what's in the water.
