"The Beauty Therapy course comment" - Another one about my Aunty.

Hey! I know I'm a little bit behind with my notifications. Hoping to get them all done tonight!
Just wanted to quickly tell you another Aunty story as I seem to be on a roll with her at the moment. Only because, like I said, she has recently made me snap so just wanted to share this story with you also.
About 4-5 years ago, I enrolled in a Beauty Therapy course to learn make up, pedicures / manicures, facials etc. I was enjoying it but I was feel anxiety being around people and lacking motivation due to depression. There were a lot of days where I would catch a bus there, ( was about a 10 minute bus ride there ) but as soon as I arrived, I didn't want to go to class so caught a bus back home. I was dealing with it pretty badly so I dropped out. Costed me a bit over $4000 but I just couldn't get my head straight. Sucks too because I was doing really well!
So one night, my dad, brother, Aunty and 2 of my cousins and I went out to dinner. I forget why. Probably just a random get together. Just as we finished looking at the menus, my Aunty says to me "So what have you been up to?" I told her that I was considering doing another type of Beauty course.
Her reply was "You probably won't finish that either."
This comment was not full of concern. In fact, even if it was, which it wasn't because she was being a smart ass, it shouldn't have been said. That is just kicking me while I was down. Or better yet, kicking me down while I was clearly trying to get back up!
Some time after that I enrolled in a Nail Technology course. I had the same issues. BUT this time I only missed 4 days where I caught a bus and 2 trains to get there. ( it was over 1 hour away from me ) but I managed to pass. I studied hard and did all the homework so even though I missed some days, I still got my Nail Technology certificate. So I am happy I did that. But her comments are comments that either kick me while I am down or motivate me but either way, things like that shouldn't be said!

@VivaLaDani13 well if I was in your family, I would definitely stand up for you. It's a shame that everyone is so afraid of her.

@VivaLaDani13 you know the old saying, misery loves company? I think this is true in your aunts case. She is unhappy with her life and wants everyone to be as unhappy as she is.

@simone10 aw thank you so much! That honestly means A LOT to me. The annoying thing is and I'm so sorry if I already said this in another post or to you in out conversations ( I'm just tired sorry ) but she often talks about how her mum was a bully to her. I have been wondering if my Aunty is so angry and hurting others like she got hurt or her personality is just more like her mum than she realises.
Either way....a bully is a bully. Whatever reason that's behind it doesn't undo what has already been done. If she was genuinely sorry, I would forgive her. But I did that once in regards to my drinking and she literally blew it the very next day so at the moment I take her apologises with a grain of salt.

@Daljinder It's pretty much how I felt when she said that.
She has some qualities like Aidan. He did that A LOT.

@VivaLaDani13 Well that is just red flags all around. Keeping distance for awhile for your peace of mind is apparent.
