The hot spell, known as El Nino Phenomenon, has caused drought in the country. Water has become an expensive commodity.
Can you live without water? Definitely not.
Interestingly, water is a symbol for many things Christian, Our Lord Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan. Water purifies. Then, when our Lord sat by a well, He asked for water. The woman at the well was wary about giving Him water but our Lord said, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water" (John 4:10).
Water is essential to life.
As the Living Water is life.

@eileenleyva wealth had always been associated with water in ancient China that's why they have a lot of manmade water features on their landscapes and is an integral part in their ancient art of Feng Shui. As they say: " make wealth flow towards you and not away"

@RasmaSandra Saving grace, I forgot to say, actually means the water provided for the destitute in countries in Africa which are devoid of basic necessities. Water is rationed. People die in numbers by the hour.

I'm sorry you are having a drought in your country. Our country had several areas that were in drought for years. The drought in California has finally ended.

My sister in LA said the wind was blustery a couple of days ago. And now, it is hot.
The air-conditioned malls are a respite for those in Metro Manila, Most have gone to the provinces for the Holy Week. Since the triduum begins Maundy Thursday, most are enjoying the beaches,

The dry spell which is expected to last until June this year has not been addressed well by the Philippine government. The snafu with Maynilad, one of Manila's water service utilities, is a grim reminder that somehow nobody is really in charge here. An angry Duterte is a face frustrated people can easily identified with.
