“If you’re forced to smile at work, are you more likely to drink after?” Lead up to a story in HLN just now. LOL I totally believe it. I’m not one to hold anything in, and I’m the most stable person you’ll ever hope to meet. My mother likes to accuse me of being unhappy. That makes me laugh every time. I’m honest, I’m free of most stress, when I am stressed I turn it into a problem I can solve, and in general I like solving problems, not acting like I have it all together, while not being in control.

I saw that story and thought it absurd.

I think being forced to fake it is absurd. That’s not saying you should go to work grilling, rather learn to control one’s emotions rather than just masking them.
