The Weather Knocked Almost All of the Camellia Blooms Off

With all of the bad weather this weekend, my camellia bush hardly has any blooms left on it. We had rain, and big gusts of wind with a tornado watch Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and high winds on Sunday. When I went outside for my walk yesterday, I noticed that blooms were on the ground, but today I took a good look. There are lots of blooms on the ground and not many left at all on the bush. This is sad and I will have to enjoy the end of the season and the very last blooms and flowers for the year. The photo shows all the blooms and flowers that were blown off the bush. As you can see, it is a lot. It is like this all the way around the bush.

It's okay. They bloom a long time, starting in the fall and ending in Spring. There are still some blooms and flowers left on it.

Just have to wait for Fall, so not too long before we start all over again.

That's another great quality of this species. They bloom for a long period of time, from Fall to Spring! I don't have too long to wait for next blooming!
