I thawed the roast meat I had in the freezer.

Last Saturday I had some roasted meat that I was going to eat during the weekend. But then Claudia came with Sofía. And Sofía wanted chicken and I gave in. So I also roasted the chicken. That evening I gave some of the chicken for Claudia to take away but I still had some. And I ate a couple of thighs on Sunday and Leticia made awesome sauces with the rest for Monday and Tuesday. Today I took out the frozen roasted meat, a bit worried that it would not taste as good as new. But it is so delicious that I am eating it cold and will make a salad later. For the moment I am not hungry, as you may have guessed. What are you having for lunch?

Ooh that sounds so nice, I like eating meat cold sometimes, my mom thinks I'm weird for that. I had cereal because it was my breakfast but I had it at lunch time.

I also eat ground raw meat. It is a very delicious German dish.

@marguicha I had no idea that was a thing. I would probably try it, but I think I would get sick because I can't even have my steaks medium rare.

I had a sandwich of sloppy joes and made Chinese for my daughter and me to eat. I'm going to a meal at church but just in case I won't like what's being served I figured I'd eat a bit before going.

Clever. Sometimes eating out is not the best idea.

@marguicha The meal at church was supposed to be the same as what's served by the Jewish population for the passover. It was interesting and much of it was delicious although there was a lot of explaining about the various aspects of the meal as it went along.

I am not very fond of turkey, except when I roast the thighs.

It is midnight here. I am wide after a long chat with my family here at my native. We had a lovely delicious dinner. It was jackfruit curry, raw mango chutney, egg plant fry with steamed rice and chapati. Then some cheer for dessert. All these dishes are my favorite and my sister in law cooked them especially for me. I was just assisting her. It was delicious and I definitely overate it.

@marguicha You can get recipes for it online. But you need to have ingredients and the right cooking vessels.
