Has anyone ever climbed a cliff? I am scared of heights, and so will not climb anything, but there are also people who love to climb mountains, hills, anything they can get to in the world.

Not me because I too am scared of heights and prefer to keep my feet planted firmly on the ground. However last year when we went to Western Australia, I did actually go along the walkway at the Valley of the Giants. I just didn't look down and as the ramp has a gradual incline it didn't seem to be so bad, although when we got to the bottom I saw the sign saying "the bridge gently ascends into the tree tops 40 metres above the forest floor." I would have had second thoughts had I seen that sign in the beginning before I got on the walkway. LOL About a week after that we went to Hyden to see Wave Rock and once again I braved it to climb atop of it. Scary I can assure you and also a very slow climb up because I wasn't going to move too fast. It too was a spectatular sight when we reached the top and well worth it. To prove that I had actually done both of these things, my husband took photos of me on each of them. Now our son is an "adrenelin junkie" who just cannot get enough of what I call "hazardous hobbies". He wants to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge but it will have to wait as he doesn't spend enough time home here in Australia, so we have said that once he returns home for good we will give him the Bridge Climb as a gift. :)

Thanks for giving me best response for this discussion Bel. :) This year I am thinking that I might get a little bit adventurous when we go on holidays. A couple of places that my husband wants to see, so I might just take a little bit of a walk with him. It will all depend on how high it is for me though.

yes I am scared of heights as well, I believe staying with my feet to stay on firm ground.
