Last time I saw this guy he was sustaining injuries that could have put him out for a time or at least for most people anyway.
I was watching the Tour de France last year and this guy called Philippe Gilbert was going fast there I thought and suddenly flipped and flew over a wall.
It got the attention of a lot of people as he was so high up there and in this race I was watching Paris-Roubaix commented on by the British Commentators and I love to hear these two.
Fast forwarding to the Bike Race of Paris-Roubaix of this year it seemed or did not seem like he was going to win.
Its a really long and gruelling race and on some very tight narrow roads and for a lot of cyclists even like them with all the company of the cars that have to be with them it takes a lot of concentration and skill just to stay in there and be a part of all of it.
So the Race went on and on and I thought lets call it quits and I would like Philippe to win and hey guess what next day I look him up and he did win.
First part of the video does not show him coming in winning so you would have to scroll over the video to the last part of it just to save you time if you want to see it that is.
So very well done Philippe and congratulations for that wonderful Race Paris-Roubaix.
Also he wins in the minute 9 mins into it the video itself.
Philippe Gilbert overcame Nils Politt in the final sprint to win the 2019 Paris-Roubaix in thrilling fashion. #NBCSports #Cycling #ParisRoubaix2019 » Subscri...
