I headed to Bible Study tonight, and stayed for the dinner afterwards, I also took three bags of clothes and canned goods for those who needed them! I’m slowly going through closets, I must say I’m proud of how easily Little Miss is willing to give up things knowing they are going to help those in need, and once the closet is cleaned out, we will make another run to the clearance rack at Kohl’s Lol! She grows so quickly I can barely keep up but this isn’t about that! I went into the restroom during Bible Study to find this on the bathroom mirror and it made me mad, because these were the drapes that were loaned to the Church for Holy Week and someone stole them, our church does so much to help others this really hurt my heart and upset me, if someone needed something all they had to do was ask not take what was clearly marked for Holy Week, we feed those in need, our church is very active in giving, this little church in the space of one weekend raised nearly 10 k for Camp Fire victims, every Monday Night Faith Hall is opened for Bible Study, and for dinner, clothes are given, showers are offered, things we do easily take for granted so when someone does something like this it hurts! Our church has been part of our community since 1854, so we have history here, some of the furniture survived the original church building that sadly burned around 1950, the current building is a replica of that, with The Faith Hall being added on!
