Does lack of bread make us underweight?

I am underweight, my brother is the same. We eat less bread. I am eating slices of bread, one or two. But my brother doesn't eat bread at all. I don't like bread because it doesn't have a taste. But I think that few slices of bread can make us underweight. My brother eats anything, but without bread. We are both thin. What is your opinion? Does lack of bread make us underweight?

Bread has carbs. But so do potatoes and pasta. And rice. If you eat too many carbs, you get fat. If you eat too little, you are thin.

If you are so thin that you think you need to gain weight, adding more fat to your diet would probably be the most effective. Fat contains more concentrated calories.

Not at all. It seems you are naturally thin.

Bread does have carbs which are fattening.
