How do you deal with people who can&#39;t accept us?

Infact no one can change another one. We can change only ourselves. Knowing this fact I never try to change any one in my life. I learnt to accept them the way they are.

Sometimes people are overbearing with their ideas. In that case, I leave them where they are and no longer associate.

i just accept that they can't accept things. and then i move on. you will never be able to please everyone, and life is too short to try. don't change who you are because they can't accept you. people will judge you no matter what you do, so why waste energy on trying to please people like that? just be you, that's all you can do :)

But if you have to deal with those people on a daily basis? You must be independent financially so that you can do whatever you like.

Yes, there are people who thinks they know everything and better than others and never accept others' opinion. Its headache for me. personally I don't prefer to discuss any opinion again infront of this people, on the otherhand I try to be myself and stay in a circle where people accepts everyone's ideas and encourage you and guide you properly

I don't change who I am. I'm not on this earth to please anyone except God. I don't agree with certain political, religious, social, artistic, entertainment, and/or philosophical viewpoints, but in America everyone is entitled to have their own beliefs.

@dya80dya You can't walk away from relatives. I limit my being around them because of their negativity. I'm thankful I no longer have that problem. The only negative people in my life were my parents and they've passed. They also never accepted me for who I am.

My best advice is to deal with those who only like you for you.. Don't bother thinking why this and that dislike you and etc... It will make your life easier, trust me..
