New Camellia Planted

I have had this camellia for I believe 2 years. It's just been sitting in the pot growing and waiting patiently to be planted. It bloomed this year and I was excited to see that it was a double ruffle flower in a rose color. This lit the fire under me to commit to getting it planted when it warms up. I wanted to get it in the ground in March, but that didn't happen. Last week while working in the yard I accomplished this mission. This plant was tagged "Camellia" but not the subspecies, so I had no clue what type or color of the flower to expect. I took the photo after I finished the job of planting it. I wish I had taken a photo of the flower when it bloomed. I guess I'll have to save that for next Fall when it blooms once again. Photo: my own
