New Camellia Planted

I have had this camellia for I believe 2 years. It's just been sitting in the pot growing and waiting patiently to be planted.
It bloomed this year and I was excited to see that it was a double ruffle flower in a rose color. This lit the fire under me to commit to getting it planted when it warms up. I wanted to get it in the ground in March, but that didn't happen. Last week while working in the yard I accomplished this mission.
This plant was tagged "Camellia" but not the subspecies, so I had no clue what type or color of the flower to expect.
I took the photo after I finished the job of planting it. I wish I had taken a photo of the flower when it bloomed. I guess I'll have to save that for next Fall when it blooms once again.

Yes, I have one more to go. It is a red tipped something. I'll have to look at the tag. That's how long they have been sitting and waiting to be planted. At least they should do well going into the ground right now with all the rain we are getting.

@wolfgirl569 It's too bad we don't live closer :) I am betting we would be best friends :)

@kareng The rain does help. I had trees in a pot for 3 years one time.
