I want my free gift .....!!!!

I have a beauty club card with a nationwide department store. Each month there is a free gift. I get an email and then the next day can go into a store to collect the free gift for that month. I usually go to my local store but sometimes will go to the bigger city a few miles away. As there are branches around the country I can still get the gift when I am away at our caravan in the summer. Anyway, last month I tootled into the store after work ...around 4.15pm only to be told that they had only had 20 gifts that month ….far fewer than normal and they had all gone by 11am...!!!! I was not happy. The store is not open before I go to work and I don't have enough time to go in my lunch break. I went on "Live chat " and complained ...it got me nowhere. I had my email yesterday so got up early ( I am on holiday from work ) and made sure that I was in store within an hour of it opening..... I was greeted with " We've got none !" I delved further ...and was told that they had not been sent any at all this month ! I have to admit I did not totally believe the man. I returned home and went on "Live chat" again....at first I was fobbed off with waffle ….but I don't give up that easily …. The person on Live chat is getting in touch with the store to find out if they have had gifts and if not if they are going to get some. He is supposed to be emailing me back " within a couple of hours " …. We will see what happens....
