While everyone is getting crazy for Game of thrones, I am binging "Mom" instead

I do watch game of thrones but I am not as hype as most people today because I rather wait for the season to finish and binge once the final season is over. I barely watch tv shows live these days. I rather wait for the season to be finish then binge it so I can skip the commercials and the weekly waiting. Recently I am obsessing with a show titled "Mom" Its a sitcom with a very dark theme. Its about a former drug addict and alcoholic who is trying to fix her relationship with her mother who was also a former alcoholic. A show with a very serious theme is actually super funny. Unlike most sitcoms their problems and misery are realistic. The show has been around since 2013 and it has been for 6 seasons. I watched the first 5 seasons in a span of a week. Maybe I can relate because I have a bad relationship with my mom. This made me think that mom is not that bad at all. She is verbally abusive and has favoritism but she was never alcoholic nor drug user. We just don't get along. This show makes me think maybe I should give my parents a phone call after we disowned each other for petty things.
