The sunshine has gone again

Last week here in Ireland it was really nice and sunny. Today it is cold, dark, wet and windy so a big change. I have my living room all nice and cosy. My fire is flickering away and I have a low lamp lighting and a few nice candles and it feels really homely. I am going to make myself something nice to eat now and curl up on my sofa to watch a movie perhaps. I cant help thinking of the many people in Ireland not lucky enough to have a sanctuary to retreat to on a cold wintery evening or a warm meal to fill their bellies or a soft bed to lay down on. I don't have great wealth or fine things but I am lucky. I have a warm cosy home, a loving family and food in the fridge. That's so much more than very many people. I am blessed
