Reliance Jio overtakes Bharti Airtel to become No 2 Telecom Company in India

Reliance Jio is constantly in the news. It has now overtaken Bharti Airtel to have 306 Million subscribers in India, more than 284 Million of Airtel. At number 1 is Vodafone-Idea combine with a figure of 387 Million but having falling numbers recently. Corporate Games!! Source :

My son was constantly insisting me to change my airtel to jio. Jio is giving unlimited mobile datas. I am using vodafone and also have an airtel number. So you mean I don't need to change the operator any more?

@Sreekala No I am just conveying that Jio now has more subscribers than Airtel. For operator number porting, you would have to follow a process.

@garymarsh6 The Reliance Jio owner Mukesh Ambani is Asia's richest person and one of the richest in the world. So they do have the financial muscle to keep rates low !
