Best laid plans and another lost water bottle...

Well, I've had the hankering to bake some banana bread, as the bananas in the fruit basket are getting worse and worse looking. I went looking for ingredients, and found out that Mom hadn't gotten rid of the bread maker someone had given her that shed never used. I tried to figure it out, and when I couldn't I decided to make muffins instead. I could not find the muffin tin, and discovered I didn't have a lot of the ingredients, either, so I gathered some things and walked to the grocery store. I also brought a small package with me, hoping I could deliver it while I was out. I got things at the store, then took the bus again to the post office. Well, it turned out that only the safety deposit box part of the post office was open, not the regular service, which I think I knew but had forgotten, so then I ran across the street for the next bus, and I think that the post office is where I left my water jug. Ugh. It's only the second one I've lost... So, anyway, I took the bus back to the shopping center stop, and another bus home, but the bus driver didn't hear when I pulled the cord to request my stop. Oh, well, I still got home, and it was just more steps on my step counter. My chocolate chips that I bought weren't horribly melted like I thought they would be when I got home, either. To top everything off, I forgot that bus rides were free today because of a festival they're having downtown. Couldn't complain about that. Now, of course, I'm not really in the mood to bake, but given the condition of those bananas, it will definitely be soon.
