The Shaktipunj is direct train from Kolkata to Jabalpur.

I travelled with my mother in Shaktipunj train from Kolkata to Jabalpur. I booked tickets in AC 2 tier. Jabalpur is 1100 km away from Kolkata. It took me 27 hours to reach Jabalpur. I took food with me. The scenery from the windows of the train was beautiful. I enjoyed the journey across 5 states in India namely West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

I never visit anywhere in Shaktipunj train. But I enjoyed the train journey with lots of relatives and of course my family members.

Thanks Debjaniji, the train was clean. We took our own food as there is no pantry car in the train.
