One is one's own Master...

While travelling across a beautiful garden, I came across the stone craving with this thing written on it (in picture). This garden has been named after Lord Buddha and I believe this is one from his virtues. Firstly, I just read and walk past it, few moments later I ran back and clicked this picture. I think, whats written on it needs to be given a thought about. My interpretation on this is, our future depends on our own action, so may be by practicing we can achieve utmost purity and can achieve state of enlightenment. There is no substitute to hard work, only by practice we can achieve the things we actually desire, since we are, are own masters. What do you believe and what's your interpretation on this....???
