The Repercussion of Setting Expectation to Other People

Usually, the people who are setting expectations are the parents for their children like they have to be an honor student or they should make it on the top or even first honor because they think that being an honor student will assure them to become successful in life. But that is not always the case. At times too many expectations will really be meant for disappointment because this will challenge your conviction regarding your beliefs. At times it will really teach you a lesson that life is not a program that you can manipulate. Anything can happen and we have to acknowledge the strength and weaknesses of individual especially our children. Once there was a person who set an expectation to me and I got really disappointed because it was like she wants to manipulate my life. It was big torture to me emotionally but I fought for it that people should not control me at all. It is not a good idea to set expectation to other people.
