Azaleas are Blooming

Azaleas are in full bloom in my yard now. The blooms only last about one week. I will never understand why some of the most beautiful blooms are gone so quickly. I snapped this photo yesterday before the blooms disappear. But I have more to come, so we will see what blooms next. These azaleas remind me of my childhood. We had them every where, but ours were always pink. Mine is more of a violet color. There are different varieties. Do you have azaleas? What is blooming in your yard?

No Azaleas, but my Mom has helped me plant a variety of Wildflowers, and I’m hoping I can keep my Orchids alive, and watch them blossom!

Those are beautiful! Mine are pink up north and are in bloom. Our son showed us his pink ones on FaceTime yesterday. They looked so pretty.

Pretty! Mine have bloomed and are just green now, these old hedges blooming is making me sick they are scented so strong.

Oh my goodness those are gorgeous. Nothing is blooming here. Maybe we have a few wildflowers but that is it. Sadly we cannot have wildflowers because they are considered a "weed" I wish we could keep them around even if they make my allergies crazy haha

I dont have those but they are lovely. The lilacs will be blooming soon here. They dont last very long either.
