Hello Everyone! It's ONE of those days :(

I just wanted to drop in and say Good afternoon since I did not get any posts up this morning. Time just got away from me as did the whole day. Ever had a day when things didn't go as planned? That is how my day is going. I managed to get the hubster up before 11:00 am today. That in itself is a miracle. So I had to fix him breakfast. I asked him if he wanted grits and eggs or a breakfast burrito. He chose the breakfast burrito. We ate. The burritos were good. I finished up my morning chores of feeding, watering the dogs and chickens. I collected the eggs from the chickens. I came back inside and started getting some things priced and tagged for the flea market. My plans for the day were to head that way around the noon hour and do errands on the way home. Hubby is out of diet cokes and I planned to stop and pick those up and a few other things that we are out of. I also wanted to stop at Lowes and get a couple more Day Lilies and see what other goodies I could find. Last week the hubby was along and he was in a hurry so no browsing for long. I made another trip out to check on the baby chicks before I was going to grab a quick bath, get dressed and head out the door. This is when the hubster told me to come see the news. The weather was on and a pop-up storm was not too far off from us. He wanted me to stay home. I went back outside and noticed that it was already considerably cooler and I could see dark clouds behind the trees. I started picking up limbs in the yard and eventually burned them all. The cloud moved on but you could hear thunder in the distance. A few minutes later another big cloud was up so I headed inside to make a sandwich for lunch. Back inside I noticed that it was almost 2 pm so I just decided to blow it all off for the day or just go do the shopping later this evening. That way, I can get an early start tomorrow. Oh and guess what? The storm missed us entirely. We didn't even get any light rain. In the meantime, I have decided to take a NAP :) Enjoy your day!
