Last week, we were able to pass the Verde Island Passage, a part of the sea going to Mindoro provinces, and other provinces in Southern Luzon, Philippines.
A portion of it on the photo above, I took from my cellphone camera.
The Verde Island Passage is known as the "World's Center of the Center of Marine Biodiversity" because there are so many rare species of marine life that are only found in that portion of the sea. It is a protected area.
While aboard the boat or ferry, one can notice if she is already on that area, when there are strong currents and big waves unlike in some areas of the sea route. It is because they say the seabed is "mountainous," with very irregular sea bed and it is very deep.
Local and foreign divers frequent the area to see the beauty underneath the sea.
I hope it would remain protected forever.

It is becoming a tourist spot and I wish it could remain clean always. I had seen footages of the seabed and it's so beautiful with so many rare fishes, corals, etc.

@acelawrites It would be nice to keep so many places clean. We all have to do our part.

Yes, it is the responsibility of everyone to keep it in it's natural form. Oh your son and his wife can enjoy the very beautiful diving site.

Yeah I heard about it since I have an office mate that is a diver and she frequents that place whenever she goets the chance to be there. She loves the place because underneath that blue sea is a place far beyond any place here. She was able to visit a diving spot in Mexico but did not appreciate the place because she already saw this place and this place is really full of life and is teeming with marine life. I know this is a protected space already.

I hope that it remains protected too... people can be so careless these days and it's so sad.

It is really saddening;some people think that their carelessness about handling waste can not affect nature.
