I am thinking about putting it down...

It's not that I am not enjoying it, I'm just not enjoying it enough. I'm talking about Scandalmonger. It hasn't made me want to read everyday, and right now I feel like I have to read it just to get a little more done in the book.
That's no way to read, is it? So, I think I'm going to put it down and pick up another. There is plenty more that I could be reading...
I may re-read one of the books I haven't read in quite awhile, though there are a few more books I want to pick up... Decisions Decisions.
I know it's been a few days since I've talked about reading and you guys were just itching for me to inundate you with talk of reading, weren't you?

I just don't / can't force myself to read something when I'm not feeling it.

@HazySue Reading is for enjoyment, If I no longer find any joy in it, I abandon it. I like to keep to a theme as well. This year it's historical fiction. Sometimes I only keep to the same theme for a few months, but I've been reading historical fiction since December, so I figured, why stop now?
It gets harder to find books that I haven't read though.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I understand. I try to push my way through. However, there have been a few books that I just couldn't make myself finish.

Absolutely, my favorite thing to do is read. Even before watching television.

I very rarely finish a book that I am not interested in--I will read the end and if I am not intrigued, I go on to the next book--

I love to read series books and then after a while read them all again and it is like visiting family.

I do and don't like series books. Sometimes I fall in love with one or two characters and if the second book doesn't mention them as much, it ruins it for me.
