18 Months Later, US Congress Still Has a Hush Fund...

A year and a half ago a fund was exposed that members and employees of US Congress could use to pay sexual misconduct misconducts.
There was a bill in Congress to end it, but it ended with the last session because newly sworn in Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi didn't consider it important enough to bring it up for debate again.
Small minded people keep pointing fingers across the aisle blaming the "other" party for this completely tyrannical program.
It was passed in 1995 under Prs. Clinton, but it was sponsored by Republican Congress Member Chuck Grassly. It has bipartisan support. Furthermore both parties have had ample opportunity to expose it and end it. Nancy Pelosi has been Speaker twice while it was in place and used.
There is nothing you can say to convince me either party cares about rape, sexual assault, or sexual harrassment.
Sexual assault is just one of the perks of their positions.

I agree with you that they really don't care they do what is best and has more advantage for themselves.
