2019 - Serious Spoilers
Quite a rush.
Lots of people said there is no post-credit scene but there is a very slight audio one on the final Marvel logo - the sound of metal being pounded by a hammer. (New Iron Man armour? New hammer for Thor? Who knows).
Sad that many characters don't re-appear until very late on.
This has more extended farewell scenes than Return Of The King - never thought that was possible.
Captain Marvel barely appears - turning up in bookends, kicking backsides then getting thrown about like a rag doll after wiping out the battle cruiser.
We get lots of we daren't mess with time lines talk before they stomp over them every which way from sundown.
Great moments - Valkerie on Pegausus - where exactly did she get that?
Black Widow's sacrifice - isn't she due for her own TV series?
Tilda Swinton's cameo works really well.
Professor Hulk so needs his own film .
Thor's Big Lebowski impersonation throughout the film is great.
All the main surviving female characters standing side by side is really iconic moment.
Captain America's fight with himself. Ace.
Captain America wielding Mjolinir. Cool.
No return for Black Widow, or Vision sadly.
Looking forward to seeing where they go from here.
More on the time travel stuff – the film is more timey wimey than the whole Matt Smith Dr Who period.
The heroes go after the time stones to get them before Thanos, basically getting them all in one place to save him a lot of effort. He doesn’t have to kill Gamora because of Black Widow’s Sacrifice.
The gauntlet Stark makes fits Hulk-Banner like a glove and also fits Stark later just as snugly. If Strange had told them his plan or vision then Stark could have thrown Professor Hulk the gauntlet so he could again have escaped the effects of the gamma radiation.
Stark’s fight with Thanos – either he switched gauntlets with him without Thanos noticing, or Stark got the five stones off the original gauntlet one by one and put them on his own in the heat of pitched battle without being seen. Were Penn & Teller helping out?
Captain America’s Time Trip to return the stones. Only three of them were in New York in the first place. Giving one back to The Ancient One would be easy. “Here, thanks for the loan.” Would he get to join in the fight with the other two Captain Americas? What about getting a stone to Asgard of old though? And would Rogers have to see Red Skull again? That would be a fun reunion. How did he get into space?
Cap America then lives out his life with Peggy Carter, ignoring the other needs of the Avengers, and even leaving Bucky facing years of torture of brainwashing to make him into the Winter Soldier. What a hero.

That is the problem with so much super hero stuff. No time to do proper cameo's.
I heard the movie is like 3 hours long too. Guess they thought story was more important.

The movie was able to explain the time travel part in some way. When you go back to the past, it becomes your new future, and your present is now your past. However, the answer to your questions about Captain America's time trip is still very vague. They were not able to clearly give us an answer. Most people just accepted that time travel is that epic.

@hexeduser22 it does get that complicated - it is still a great fun movie though

Thank you for this review. Unlike 90% of America, I don't plan on seeing this movie. Just not my thing!
