How do you get rid of your old computers and electronics? Do you store them in a 'just in case' place? Or do you focus on eliminating that clutter, and discard the items in smart ways?
Do you give them to good will services, or do you simply junk the items? What has your experience been with storing or discarding them?

i usually gut anything useful and scrap the remainder.memory cards and motherboards have some amounts of valueable metals.
