Shopping is not my style

Today my mother forced me to come with her to shop at a traditional market. You know, I really hate shopping. Especially if we shop in traditional markets. I don't like having to jostle with other people, walking around in the hot air and stuffy. That makes me very uncomfortable. I prefer paying more through shopping online than having to shop there.
But anyway, this is my mother's request, and I have to do it.

i used to hate that too, but now that i live alone, i have to shop, and the traditional market is only open the weekends and there's no onmine shopping here, it's a small village in the middle of nowhere
i came to enjoy sundys because of it ! you're gonna love it someday.

@kasmakarim If everyone shopped online, the city centres wouldn't have shops anymore. I'm sure you wouldn't like that much.

I'm like you, I can't stand being in a traditional market, I can't stand the heat and the smell. I think your mother is only teaching you skills because sooner or later you will also become a mother your self.

I prefer the outside markets as they are full of people you speak to and being online is not so much fun.
I liked going to the Market with my Mom as it was not very often that we got the chance to do so.

I do love shopping for food, but I do not like the rudeness of other shoppers - which does happen at certain heavy traffic markets out here. I do take my kids with me whenever possible just so they learn how to shop - whether it's for picking out food or dealing with people.

I don't know why but most people who are on the market will definitely be 'brutal' (if I can say that so

@kasmakarim I find that the store layout may have something to do with it too. If it is too cramped and crowded, people are just generally more irritated.

i'd love the opportunity to go to traditional markets! 't least ya know the fruits'n veggies're fresh 'n ya can visit with whome'er 'd be sellin' their wares - build a relationship with 'em.
's fer shoppin' 'tself, to me shop's a 4-letter word 'n should be avoided like the plague :)

Yup, that's the reason my mother prefers to shop at traditional markets. They sell everything fresh and are relatively cheaper than supermarkets
