Why Does Stevie Wonder Need a Teleprompter?

I know many musicians have taken to using crutches like teleprompters to remember lyrics and chords, but I think this is taking it a bit far... lol What do you think?

Maybe he did not practice as much as he should have. In fact I guess some musicians wear sort of like a wireless headset where the track is going so they sing along and people don't even realize it!

I always suspected he wasn't really blind. But seriously, if they could restore his sight, it would be great and it wouldn't bother me a bit if he used a prompter.

On stage reminders do bother me. I mean, it doesn't make me hate the band or anything, but it makes me wonder why the musicians don't practice more so they won't need them. I mean c'mon, they're saying they can't accomplish what almost every Pop musician has been able to pull off for a thousands of years. lol
