Do you ever start out to want to make something and decide on something else?

Yesterday I thought I would make salami and eggs in the frying pan but changed my mind. I decided instead for a half a salami sandwich and some liver had left over. I really did not want to clean out the frying pan afterwards with the oil in it. Does that happen to you to where you think you want something and decide on something else?

I had a girl friend, but, after some soul searching decided to become a priest.

It happens to me but not in kitchen, in my life in general. When I think of a project and start to hammer on it, I often leave it hanging mid-way. It is a bad habit. It's something I am working on but it's a big challenge.

@excellence7 Yes often the challenge is to complete things and do not leave them midway.

Sure why not. If it is has been started and my goal is to bring it to a conclusion I'll force myself to stick to it. Otherwise, expect the unexpected.

Yes at times, I do have some plans for something and they undergo some change. For e.g- Today I wanted to read a book after working online in the morning and afternoon, but now skipping that due to lack of time.

Our maid is famous for that. She started sweeping the yard yesterday. She leaves that half and I see her scraping coconut (lol)

It happens to me often. I make plans for doing something and then I end up doing something else that needed to be done. I always retake what I had posponed

Countless times . Most people do this on a daily basis, at least when dealing with small decisions. When you have to decide about something important, it's less likely to change your decision halfway .

@debjani1 So how do you decide what to make instead of what you intended to make?
