Harris County deputies with the assistance of some strangers were able to take down a Patagonia Mara or Dillaby that had been missing from his owner for two days. A passerby located the Dillaby on the side of the Grand Parkway in Harris County Texas last week. The most likely scenario was that the passerby contacted the Harris County Sheriff's Office to report what was going on. When the deputies with the assistance of the strangers were able to take down the Dillaby who is a native of Argentina, the animal was taken to the Houston Humane Society to be cleaned up and return to health. The owner of the Dillaby was happy to reunite with his pet who can jump up to seven feet and can run very fast which may have been the cause of the Dillaby to leave his owner's home. I do not know about you. But if I did see a Patagonia Mara loose on the roads anywhere, I would freak out.

I know what you mean since I have never seen these animals before in my lifetime.

That is the cutest thing. Boy, can it jump high. That would be too much of an active pet for me. I have a very small apartment and my ceiling is so low that the Dillaby would literally go right through the roof.

I know what you mean since dealing with a cat that has super speed who likes to go outside for a quick walk instead of being an indoor cat is enough for me.
