Our Old Church

I met up with a Friend today, who lives in Vegas But was up visiting, she had brought up some pics of the Original Church that burned to the ground in 1950 and was rebuilt in 1954, with the help of the town, and those who supported the church, many did, whether or not they attended the Church. My Friends Family had history up here dating back to the Gold Rush! The current church stands as a replica of the old Church with the exception of the Faith Hall, where we do our dinners, our fellowship after Church and Bible Studies! This picture I’m wanting to say was taken in the early 40’s’! Miraculously the house that sat so close to the original church is still there!

The sense of history helps us understand who we are.

I do too, my friend gave them to me, so I feel it’s only right I give them to the history committee at our Church!
