It's amazing how can a person change through years. During my rebellious teen phase, my face was plastered with piercings. Now I am 33, I don't have any jewelry, not even a pendant. I just don't like Jewelry anymore, not only it attract muggers, I don't feel comfortable wearing any of them. Not even a wrist watch. This is a reenactment of a true story. A man will propose marriage to his girlfriend. So he asked his girlfriend's sister to buy rings with him. He assumes that because she is his girlfriend's sister, they have the same finger sizes. So brings his girlfriend's sister to the Jewelry store and let her try on rings, he will use for the proposal. The most expensive ring got stuck on her finger so he is forced to buy it and bring his girlfriend's sister to the hospital. He ask the doctor to cut off the finger of his girlfriend's sister so he can save the expensive ring. Which made her angry because she is just trying out to help him pick a ring for his proposal and she will lose a finger because of it. The 2 of them fought and argue at the hospital. He suggested to cut off her finger and reattach it but she disagreed. The doctor made the final decision and he destroyed the platinum diamond ring to save her finger. The guy is a jerk, he rather see his sister in law lose a finger just to save an expensive ring. Lesson learn: Sisters dont have the same finger sizes. source:
Dr. Begleiter needs to remove a very expensive diamond ring from the sister of its owner before it causes permanent damage. Will he be able to get it off in ...

Oh, poor guy! Though, I think I've heard of others who believe that sisters or other relatives would have the same or similar ring sizes. I can't believe it was so stuck that all they could do was surgically remove the ring or else destroy the ring. If the man was smart, he would have looked in his girlfriend's jewelry box for a ring and took that with him. Or, he could have guessed her size and let them re-size the ring later.

LOL at the sister forgiving him after he suggests to cut off her finger and reattach it. I wish we have the actual footage but we end up with a dramatization. The ring costs 15 thousand dollars so that is why he is suggesting to cut off her finger.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Well I can't say I blame him as that is an expensive ring. I don't think I want a wedding ring the next time I get married. I guess that's the norm though, right? To me it's just a symbol to show everyone else, and that shouldn't matter if there is trust and love.

I have a feeling the proposal never happened because he will save money again for another ring.

I use to like piercings but now I don't like all kinds of accessories and that includes bracelets.
