Cell phone off

I typically do not turn my cell phone when I go to bed. My phone is typically on all of the time. I use for an alarm to wake up to get the kids ready and stuff. If I don’t need the alarm I just turn off my volume till I get up in the morning.
Do you keep your cell phone over night while your sleeping or do you turn it off?

Only turn it off maybe 5 mins a week, as weve been told to do by tmobile. But my phones almost always on silent.

Why do you have to turn it off for 5 minutes once a week. I have never heard of that?

@ShyBear88 I don't exactly remember why we were told it, but tmobile said something that phones shouldn't be on 24.7 - to like give it a rest even for just a few minutes a week.

It doesn’t have to be an addiction that’s only if your on it 24/7. Some people like myself use it as an alarm clock. Hey if my power goes out at least I’ll still be up on time.

I turn it off even if it is on mute, I just like it to be off at a certain tain, i have a landline and a clock, just like electronics off at night.

We don’t have any alarm clock. We use our phones and it has saved us a few times with the power going out.
