How difficult is it to change a bad habit?

Bad habits when over-cultivated are extremely unpleasant. For some people getting rid of them is a very complicated task... Because no matter how hard they try, the bad habit persists. What do you think of this? Have you been through something like this? Do you currently have any habits that you think are bad?

Bad habits are easier to change than addictions.

I always lived by one of my favorite scenes in Arthur. You are going to keep doing something, but one day you are going to notice you miss what you were doing and realize you are okay. Then you can work on not needing to keep up with that habit or want. I'm sure I have some bad habits I need to curve, but nothing that is extremely harmful or else someone would have confronted me about them haha

It would be difficult if a person doesn't have the will to change.

I don't think I have any bad habits right now but at some times in my life, I have done things that could be considered bad habits like biting my nails. What I did then was that I just stopped and to make sure I was not tempted to bite my nails for a while I would put something bitter or very sour on my nails.

@WiseGhots I think that there are some bad habits that are hard to get rid of and take time and when the time is right will go away. By the way where have you been? This is an old post. Are you still here?

Because it has become a habit then I think it's very difficult to change it.

I think it is quite difficult. I have a habit of saying a bad word if I drop something or hurt myself or can't find an item that I need. Often, I just react. Then I am mad at myself because I really don't think it's cool to curse! I need to train myself to just be silent or say a word that isn't offensive.
