My older foe kids just have 3 more weeks of school before summer starts. They are excited that they are in the last few weeks of school and then they can do as they like with in reasons. I need to get there summer education books soon for them do there work books. Just one or two pages a day and lots of reading. Who else had kids that are ready for summer vacation to start?

My daughter already finished her spring semester at University of Florida 2 weeks ago, and she starts her summer semester there on Monday. My son has 2 more weeks at his high school before he is on summer vacation. He is going to spend the summer in south Florida with his grandparents, and spend the summer working with my uncle who is an electrician, so he can earn lots of money. He is definitely excited for summer to start soon! I do feel bad for him though, as he has 4 final exams on the last day of school. Teachers can be so cruel sometimes. Happy Mother's Day to you! I hope you enjoy this special day!

Thanks, it wasn’t too special of a mother’s day. Yes that is tough having that many exams in one day. Just 2 more Monday’s of school and one of those Monday’s there is no school.

@ShyBear88 I don't know if you feel the same way, but I felt like this school year flew by in the blink of an eye.

@Courtlynn yes, very true. We don’t do a lot of vacation with our kids we try to do the family reunion every summer if we can. It gets expansive but we do a lot things around where we live.

@ShyBear88 most, but I know many who prefer school, as they don't get to do much in the summer with parents working.

My son's vacation started today and he has lots of works from school itself. In addition he has to prepare for the exam when school reopens.

@Sreekala do you means the end of the quarter they are on a small break. Summer break is 3 months long for US kids so they do no school and then they start school in a new grade at the end of Summer. Exams are only for Middle schoolers and High schoolers our little Elementary school don’t have any

I think my kids are looking forward to it. My eldest came home last week and she was saying that her teacher had said they had like 34-35 days left of school. Not too much longer now.

@ShyBear88 Yes, it's always exciting when the end is near. I understand counting down the days.

@dodo19 yep! I typically take a picture as the last weeks roll around and then the last few days of school when they have fun activities going on

I don't have kids, but that's what my mom sometimes made me do. Summer homeworks, ugh! So annoying :(

It might be annoying but it helps you get back into school and your far less to regresses back wards.
