I Have a Hangover! It's Not From Booze or Drugs

I struggle with pollen allergies, like many people do. I really hate to take a lot of meds, but if I don't, then I have real problems when pollen counts are high. It makes me feel high! I can barely function. 
Is anyone else affected like this when they have an allergy attack?

I think for the most part I am over the hay fever I had when I was a kid, but today they were mowing on the side of the highway and my car windows and sun roof were open. It had me rubbing my eyes a bit.
