Why Can't I Sleep Standing Up in the Shower.

Sleeping while standing up is a skill acquired by most military basic trainees. Standing in formations so long, with so little sleep just kind of naturally develops the habit. It's not often, but it does happen once in a while. Standing there watching TV or other braid dead activities, I just drift off. It's not like I sleep for hours on end that way, but I have been known to sleep for minutes on end. But not in the shower. If I fall asleep in the shower, I literally fall down. This happened to my yesterday. I must not have gone down without a fight, all the bottles and in racks and hung on the glass shower door ended up in the bottom of the tub with me. I checked eyes, coordination and other signs and symptoms. Just a bump on my noggin and a mild concussion. I pretty much slept the next 24 hours away, but I'm feeling much better now. But that doesn't solve the question... why is the shower the only place I can't sleep standing up?

That is one question I cannot answer for you. Do be careful and glad it was not worse than a bump on the head.

@ParaTed2k I think I don't need to do that anymore. I used to study hard during my school days.

My cousins during her younger years can sleep even while standing but of course someone was beside her holding her.

I think our bodies cannot balance it, unless we are trained for it :)
