So I watched an IPL match yesterday after a number of days. It was a match between DC and CSK, which CSK won by 6 wickets and now they are into the final to play against MI.
Yesterday Faf Du Plessis and Shane Watson made superb 50s to take them to a good win, after DC made a not so good 148 runs in 20 overs.
Rishabh Pant scored 38 runs but rest were not so good.
It must have been a heartbreak for DC who progressed so far.
Image was captured by myself when watching the match yesterday

@DianneN No No it is a different kind of a Tournament. Here players from across the world and belonging to different countries play for different Teams (also called Franchisees) like Chennai Super Kings(CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH), Delhi Capitals(DC), Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) and so on.
This is similar to the concept of teams in European League or EPL like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United(ManU), Ajax, Chelsea- which have players from across the various nations.
There is a biding of the players before each season, and various franchisees pick players as per their budget.
