I don’t have a phone today

Today I came to office without my phone. I have given my phone to my son as he has gone for his test today, alone, by metro. It is almost more than one hour journey and he is new to the place so he downloaded metro app so that he will get proper guidance. (I have to say the app is really helpful to travel with metro. So I decided to let him take my phone with him so that he feels easy on travelling. He called me up on reaching the metro station and will reach the place very soon. One of his classmates joined with him and takes him to his home. His friend will accompany him to the test centre as it is near to his home. In the meantime he was bit confused as he wanted to change the lines (there are so many lines, pink line, violet line, blue line, yellow line, red line – the metro app is giving clear picture to catch from where to where). He was hesitant to have my phone and he asked how you will manage. I said I can easily manage without a phone. Then in office no net work so I am depending the land phone in my office. How about you, is life difficult without a phone?

Since it is my usual routine no problem without my phone for a day. He has gone alone so the app will help him to track the routes right.

It’s not so difficult, in fact I get to do more things without my phone. I need phone, however, for communication with my family and my boyfriend when I’m not at home.

Yes, I do agree, phone is part of our life. At the same time, nothing will happen if it is not around with us for a day.

Good luck to him with the test and hope he gets good marks. Apps can be very handy but prefer a land phone for when the internet is down.

@lovinangelsinstead21 He said it was good. There is negative marking as well so he skipped two questions as he does not know the answer.

I don't require phone for my life. I am happy without it. I do my online work on laptop mostly. Sometimes I don't realize where is my phone till it rings. But in last one month I have used my phone only for Mylotting. I am still to get back to laptop.

I am also not happy with phone mylotting. But I do it occasionally when I am at home. I don't have any other way at home now. But I love to do from my desktop. P.S. My son's test is over now, he is on his way to back home, he said it did it well. But there is negative marking for wrong answers as well. Let me see dear.

Well, metro map really helps. Managing without phone can be difficult but it isn't impossible. I think we should often try to quit phone for a day

I think most of us feel difficulty to remember the numbers of other people. Since it is for day time and he will reach back at home by evening not a problem in that way. Then I am busy with office too.

I was willing to go back home just to get my cellphone. I can't imagine having to walk without holding a cellphone.
