How Much Are We Expected To Take??

It is now May 11th and this morning we woke to find a pretty good coating of frost on the car windows. And, as of 9:30 this morning, we are sitting at 6 degrees. At least that is what my weather app is telling me. I was just out a few minutes ago and it sure doesn't feel like 6 degrees. It's parka weather out there. Okay, the sun is shining and that's a plus but it feels more like March than May.
Now the book that sits on my dresser every morning tells me to look for the good in every situation, but I'm slowly running out of ideas!
Tell me what your weather is this morning... Yeah, I really want to know!!

! Not that I mind, but we have been having gray days - today the sun seems to be coming up a tad earlier - though we did get some wetness I guess last night. It really does not feel like our typical May - strange!@Hate2Iron (15730)

I honestly have no idea what's going on. I went out about a half hour ago and I can't believe how many people are wearing t-shirts and shorts. I even spotted some flip flops. Everyone wants warm weather soooo bad!

@Hate2Iron I find people are crazy dressing that way when it's still too cold. You should see the nuts down here who wear parkas on "cooler" days.

Oh yuk, that's western Canada for ya,,9 months of winter...and then August! It is getting cooler here,,and the front keeps trying to come in. I think it is about 68 F. The breeze coming in feels fairly cool.

I just checked Manitoba... and it's warmer there than it is here. We left because of the temps... maybe we should have stayed one more year!

At the moment, I can only dream. We have had too much parka weather at this point. 40 is sounding kind of nice!

It rained in the night here. It is now overcast and cloudy with the sun trying to peak through.

Two nights ago the nightly rainfall completely filled our rain barrel to overflowing. We are going to have to find a new place for it. I want some heat in the worst way or we are going to flood the neighbours!!
