In Kolkata in West Bengal, extreme heat wave is prevailing. In the 2nd week of May temperatures are hovering around 39 degree celsius with humidity of 92%. It is difficult to concentrate on work. The districts of West Bengal like Bankura, Birbhum have even higher temperature above 42 degree celsius. Unless rain through any norwester comes, it is trouble for the people.

Thanks Arca, yes the heat is unbearable. We are using air coolers and air conditioners to combat the heat.

@arcandrid Thanks Arka I am a Law Professor in JIS University, so I go to office. But inside our house I have air conditioner in 2 rooms. But it is not possible to avoid the heat totally.

Thanks Rasma, yes we are using air conditioners at home to combat the heat.
