What on Earth was He Thinking?

Doodles the cat enjoys bringing his toy mouse and toy goose to his daddy and grammy for praise.
He also loves catching real critters outdoors such as voles, shrews, mice, and chipmunks. He once caught a bird, a turkey, and a squirrel.
So why did he stalk, sneak, and crawl on his belly towards a huge deer? Did he think he was a tiger? What would he have done? Gone for the deer’s throat? Silly Doodles!
Doodles must have startled the deer when he came close. The deer stamped its hoof and snorted very loudly.
That’s when his daddy, our son, intervened. He scooped Doodles up and brought him into the house.
We still have no idea what Doodles was planning to do with a huge deer and hope we never find out!

who knows..he might have tried to jump on its back and go for a ride! Nico has no doubt found it very boring around here, because due to the rain, all the small birds and animals he loves to watch have been laying low!

Silly cat. That deer could have stomped him. Sure hope Doodle realized that was a much too big animal to stalk. My Sid is sitting on the tip of the roof now meowing loudly. This usually happens when he feels his Papa's presence. I know those meows so I just shouted through the window say hi, from me. Yeah, I know a few bats in the belfry but at least I never lose hope of some connection

I love black cats. I think they tend to either look like teddy bears or like panthers
