That was different...

I left my house too late to catch the bus to the Health Care center, so I walked over to church so that taking a Lyft wouldn't be quite as expensive--though it was still more than I would have cared to pay--it would have been more hand I not walked to church.
When I got to the Health Center I checked in, and I guess I wrote about a paragraph in my journal before the guy came out to get me.
He took me to one room, and I told him what was going on, and he told me a bit about acupuncture, then so I could have a "taste" of what acupuncture was like, I guess, he took me to this other room where there were these two other ladies laying back in chairs.
The guy (acupuncture-ist?) had me take my sandals off and lean the chair back, and then stuck two little needles in the side of each hand and two in the side of each foot. Then he said just to relax for about half an hour, so I did -- the room was dark, and there was soft music playing, so why not? I closed my eyes for the most part--there was a dull pain that seemed to jump from one hand to the next, and then from one foot to the next, but nothing excruciating. When the guy came back to get me, the other two ladies were gone. I vaguely remember one of them leaving.
Anywho, I scheduled a few more appointments, and then went to the bus stop. When I got from the Health Center to the shopping center bus stop, of course it would be about 32 minutes until the bus I needed got there, so I walked the rest of the way home. I remembered to time it, as I'd been meaning to, and by the time I got to my front porch it took me about 26 minutes to get home walking. If I had waited for the bus, I still would have been standing at the bus stop in that amount of time.
When I got home I fed Angel. There was a message on the machine from Mom's/my brother's and my broker, which I'll return tomorrow, but nothing from my boss. I may call her after I take a shower just to be sure if she needs me tomorrow or not.
So, that's how my afternoon went. Hopefully this acupuncture thing will help my back once he actually does this thing.
I had meant to go to Michael's crafts after my appointment to get some cloth for my cross stitch, but of course I completely forgot.

I should have taken a better picture of it, but the arrow in the picture is pointing to the two little holes the needles left in my hand.

A friend of mine tried accupunture a few years ago. I went with her one time and yes, she got to lie in a reclining chair in a dim-lit room listening to quiet music. Not sure why she stopped going.

@xstitcher No, it was for her knee, I believe, and it's still bothering her.
