I Can't Believe I Still Get to Watch The Simpsons 30 Years Later!

The casting call went out. Voice actors were needed for a series of animated shorts for the Tracy Ullman Show. The actors who won the gig thought they were just putting in a few hours for some 10 minute bits on a comedienne's tv show. Now most people don't remember Tracy Ullman, but The Simpson's is an international, record breaking hit.
Desert Storm seems like it was two lifetimes ago, but we used to joke about Bart Simpson there. Only a handful of vets from that war are still serving, but we're all older than Homer and Marge. Some are even older than Grandpa Simpson. ;~)

True. Nancy Cartwright wrote a book of her memoirs entitled "My Life as a Ten Year Old Boy" ;~)

@ParaTed2k , I wonder if she is somehow related to Angela Cartwright, from Lost In Space, and the movie, The Sound of Music. Probably just a coincidence.

i'm a little surprised that show's still on too.
it was the only thing that really made tracy ullman worth watching..i never thought she was that funny.
