Well it is now less than two weeks to the start of the mega event if cricket- the Cricket world Cup.
Each team is focused and working hard.
Some interesting observations over the last few days : -
1: A lot of 300 plus scores are being made in the practice matches and this combined with dry and hot weather indicates high scoring matches in the coming tournament.
This contrasts with my memories of 1999 world Cup when English conditions used to be favoring swing bowling and were colder.
2: Aussies and Windies look in better condition and could be contenders for the cup.
David Warner showed good form in the IPL and Steve Smith, who too is back from a one year ban also looks good.
3:India and England look top favorites but South Africa would depend a lot on their bowlers.
4:One cannot take Pakistan team for granted - they can be unbeatable on their day.
5: Afghanistan can cause an upset or two!

@anil02 Windies seem to be in a revival mode and Kiwis can also spring a surprise or two.

@Nakitakona it is a 11 player a side match. One team balls and the other team bats, and then switch after a certain number of balls called overs.
The higher scoring one wins.

We all are waiting for this. And it surely will keep us engaged for more than two months. You have given apt points but still it is game of unpredictability and that keeps it exciting. There are quite a few teams in good form and so we are sure to see lots of exciting matches.
